Japan is, of course, famous for its efficient use of space, but it never ceases to amaze me how much entertainment the tiny Tokyo Dome City Attractions (formerly Korakuen) manages to crowd into such a tiny plot of land. It’s got a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, drop tower, water ride, and much, much more. Admission is free.
They have an English website at: http://www.tokyo-dome.co.jp/e/attractions/
I rode in/on that ferris wheel 4 years ago on my first trip to Japan. The “Thunder Dolphin” I think it’s called? Scared the bejeesus out of me! I didn’t even go near it…
I did ride a Power Ranger one that made me run for a beer (actually 3) to calm my frazzled nerves after….
I don’t think I liked there too much….
😛
I guess you meant that admission to the park is free. Surely the rides cost you, don’t they?
Sure, of course the rides cost money.
