Long-time resident in Japan (since 1993) but originally from Canada. Has written guidebook chapters, magazine articles, tons of blog entries and even a book about less-known aspects of Japan. In his free time, he loves photography, cycling, and exploring interesting and obscure places around the Kansai area.
Very interesting blog.
Originally from Japan, I now call the U.S. my home, raising half-Japanese kids. They have never visited Japan (though they are fluent in Japanese), and I enjoy sharing these photos with them. (They both love Canada, too, by the way; in fact, my son, after numerous trips, finds Canada far better than the U.S.) He and I have just launched a mother-and-son blog (www.lovelindy.wordpress.com), which includes a discussion of bilingual/bicultural parenting.
